Love Letters from Brooke: GOALS

This is a word you should have heard throughout the past 9 weeks. And now that the open is over what better time to set a goal. Is there something you wish you could have had before The Open started? Well let’s start working on it now.

So… what is a goal?



1. The result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim; end.
Goals give people direction in life, a reason for doing something and a deeper level of commitment in finishing what they started. How many New Year’s resolutions have you started and stopped? How many promises have you made to yourself and quit? How many times do you need to go through this cycle of starting and stopping until you finally realize that maybe you’re just not going about it the right way. Maybe you need to write it down, or maybe you need accountability? Whatever your reason, I encourage you to find it and start goal setting, and stop giving yourself a way out.
Life is meant for accomplishments, and accomplishments are worth fighting for. They are something you will always be able to look back on and be proud of, but sometimes you need a little help along the way and that is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, stats have proven that you are more likely to stick with something when you are surrounded by others to help and encourage you along the way. #accountability

I truly believe we were designed for community, to do life with each other and to share with each other. SO! If you need any help goal setting or simply want to find your “why” for doing things, please let me or any of the coaches know. Don’t let this year go to waste, there is so much time left and a new season of CrossFit has just begun!
