Love Letters from Brooke: The Last 2017 Open Workout!

We Made It!… Well Most of Us… haha

Five weeks of tough, grueling workouts that have left you breathless and still wanting more all at the same time. The CrossFit Open seems to never disappoint, which is why I love it so much!

I have loved seeing the teams rally together to support their fellow teammates as well as others on different teams. The energy has been amazing every Friday night and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone.

Now what?….

Now you have a chance to obtain those things you weren’t able to accomplish in The Open. Whether that was a bar muscle-up (I know, I know… touchy subject) or a handstand push-up, or a certain weight in your snatch. Now you have something to strive for in this coming year. I encourage everyone to create a goal board for yourself and share it with at least 2-3 other people. Let them keep you accountable to work hard, to not slack off during the holidays; to stay strong All. Year. Round!

My predictions: everyone keeps saying thrusters and double- unders. I definitely think those two movements will be in it as well, as they seem to make an appearance every year. But to be honest at this point, I don’t know how the workout will be set up. Looks like I’m in for my own surprise this week!
