As a Veteran, Memorial Day and Memorial weekend hold a special place. More so I find it an important responsibility of mine to remind friends and family of it’s significance. While it may seem appropriate to thank all Veterans, this day is specifically in memorial of those who have died in military service.
From the Revolutionary War, to the sweltering jungles of the South Pacific, and the blistering streets of Iraq. We remember the men and women who selflessly gave their lives in service to our country. Many who were very young, many had loving families, and all left brothers and sisters behind.
So this weekend enjoy yourselves, take advantage of the deals, run Murph, but spend a few moments to appreciate your friends and family. Our liberties and way of life are protected by those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
